I love those mate. They are pretty much what I have my mind set on. The edition 35 style 'Glen' alloys. Where did you find these at bud? I also very much like the thought of these, but I can't seem to find any pics on a silver mk6. Wish I was good with photoshop

Nice taste in VWs!

How does the performance compare at stock since they are both rated 6.9s? Do you miss not having the DSG on the Golf?

I do kind of miss the dsg. Was a lot of fun shifting with the paddles when going for a spirited drive, but it just lacks that 'connected' feeling you get when shifting with the manual. Polo would run rings round the golf standard, but hopefully with a nice intake and a good map that should sort it out. Even standard the polo was very quick, but that's just down to the DSG I would think.

Personally I would pop some black gloss alloys on that! Would look naughty!!!   some leds rear lights and leave it bar the engine..possibly wind deflectors? the gti inserts for the seats? some gti matts? upgrade interior lights to ledS? sticker here or there. just done exact same to mine   the polo looked class!

I'm deffo going to get the little seat inserts and the sill protectors. I agree, that little bits like that do feel to make a huge difference to the looks. Had wind deflectors on the polo but I ended up having to repair the windows regulator as it snapped from the pressure of sealing against the plastic after a while, and that is a job I wouldn't rush into doing ever again haha. My next buy is going to be a new set of alloys and tyres, then the rear and front Lamps.

Hi Mavs, welcome!! Polo looked mint, I've got the RS4 rims on my motor, take a gander at my newbie post a while back (albeit this is my 4th post..... :lipsrsealed: )

Not the best pics as they are at an angle but you can get the idea.

Hi Woodstock. Thanks man, just seen the pics of your GTI. Looks wicked on those RS4 alloys, really stand out against the black. ( Kind of wish id of held out for a black one now  ) Got my mind working overtime now, so many wheels to choose from.

Haha thanks man. Yeah will do, hoping to get a set within the next month or so. Will post up some pictures when I get around to sorting them. Looking at the how to guides there doesn't look to be too much involved to fit them.

Your car looks awesome mate. Love the stance you have going on. How would you rate the suspension setup? I went through two sets of springs / damper setups on the polo, handled great but was so harsh on the roads. Must say, if love to drop the golf a few mm but really don't want to kill the comfy ride I now have

Its harsher, but everyone's opinion on harshness is different, driving motorways and a roads is great, if going gets bit bumpy you can definitely feel it compared to stock, more than tolerable for the 2k Miles a month I do though personally for me.
