GTD on the way
« on: 22 January 2015, 12:59 »
Hi All,

Long time lurker here and thought I'd pass on my thanks to everyone that has contributed to the forum and helped me to choose my next car.

I started looking for a new motor in August and didn't have a clue what I wanted other than it was about time I got something with a bit of quality that was a pleasure to drive.

I stumbled upon this site during my search, and in the last week of November ordered a Tungsten Silver GTD!
I've tried to switch off since ordering, but have found myself trawling the forum on more than a few occasions!

Anway, I received my 5a text this morning, and am now seriously excited at the prospect of picking the new car up in the next few weeks!

Thanks again to everyone that has contributed, the info I got from here was particularly helpful when I was choosing my spec.

Yes - not many TS cars out there so will be pleased to see the pics eventually. I was thinking it would be a good colour for a GTE with its blue trim.....

The wait is finally over, and it was worth every minute!

I'll post some more picture if anyone is interested once I've had chance to take some this weekend with a proper camera.

That looks really really nice, the metallic looks great in that colour - like frosted icing or something! (I think I am quite hungry.)

Looking forward to more pics, and enjoy!

Ordered my GTD 5 door with leather interior & DCC in Carbon Grey just before Christmas. I got the email yesterday that it is at the dealers for collection. But I won't be picking it up until March. However that's about 8 weeks from order to delivery. So either orders are slowing down or I managed to get a dealer slot they had prebooked.
