I used Asda tyres the last couple of times. I found them a few quid cheaper than Black circles.

My nearest Asda centre is a 40 mile round trip.
Even worse with Costco…..a 120 mile round trip!
I will stay local I think.
That means Blackcircles centre 3 mile round trip.
I wonder where the OP is getting theirs from and if they cost in fitting, balancing and disposal??

4 tyres fitted and balanced at Costco.
Offered ended Sunday 9th

My Bridgestone are still legal for a few thousand but the offer is too good to pass up at that price.
Don't really have storage space when I take the old ones off so thought I'd offer them here.

Thanks. That was a nice deal you got!
If only I was closer to a Costco…..I know they do some good offers.
I would be interested to hear your opinion of the AS5s in due course.
I need to change my Pilot Sport 4 fronts soon and it’s a toss up between Goodyear AS5 and latest version of PS.

All fitted nicely, super quick and clean service at Costco.
Quick drive out to take the shine off them and seem OK. Will let you know how they are in a few weeks.

My 2019 GTI needs 4 new tyres,

ATS: £369 for 4 Goodyear EAGLE F1 ASYMMETRIC 6 (includes a £68 discount for buying 4)
National Tyres (part of Halfords): £353.56 for 4 Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 (225/40 R18 92Y) (includes a 15% discount for 4 tyres)
Halfords: £364 for 4 Bridgestone Potenza Sport (225/40 R18 92Y) XL (includes a 15% discount for 4 tyres)

Is there a forum favourite or would either of the above tyres be good, my car currently has Bridgetsone on the rear and some cheap brand which were put on when I bought the car 10k miles ago by the dealer and they are done.  The Bridgetsones have clearly lasted a lot longer. Do I need to worry about the fitting of tyres at national or halfords?
