I'll give them a ring tomorrow, more for your curiosity than mine.  March pick-up will be nice, definitely don't want it before the new plate.

Do it now

Just for you matchboy, I rang them up and have been given a provisional BW4, which is currently subject to change but will be confirmed/locked in about a months time. Had to endure about 10 mins of dodgy Spanish guitar music to find that out.

 Awesome!  We are BW friends, I'm also BW4

Matchboy: 19" rubber and no DCC? Slightly tempted by the Pretorias, but never had a drive on a 19" wheeled GTI/D/R without DCC to know if the ride is significantly harsher. Shouldn't piss about with my order now, should I?
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

All ready on 19s and the ride is absolutely fine, I don't even notice it tbh.  I'm sure its harder than one on 18s, but its not a bone shaker (like for eg. a M135i on 18s which was harsh!) - so its something I wouldn't use nor need - the standard set up on the mk7 is excellent IMO.  But everyone is different!

No, you probably shouldn't change your order - however I'm considering changing mine - saw the carbon nappa leather yesterday (the cream one) and it looks amazing - so tempted but its such a waste of money

I saw the Carbon Nappa at my local VW dealer, the carbon bits (bolsters etc) looked a bit plasticy up close to me. Cream and wet jeans? Risky.

Really?  That's interesting - thanks.  For over 2k I don't want a plastic look!  Also, cream seats and a 6 year old with chocolate in the back - also risky

I've also seen the cream nappa in the flesh when I parked up next to an mk7 R and persuaded the owner to let me have a nosey around inside.  Up to that point I was seriously considering the nappa (despite the insane price tag) but changed my mind after seeing it.  Looked horrible, plasticky, tacky and ruined the interior.  Course I lied and told the owner it looked great   I'm speccing black vienna leather instead.

Kids eating in the car   I let my 8 year old starve.
