Would rather pay the extra for the VWR R600. It's only about £50 more and I prefer the enclosed filters. Been really impressed with the increased power from mine, especially at top end.

Was going to fit my R600 tonight but failing light and a fight with my wife's wing mirrors meant not this evening

Seen plenty of intakes but the quality of this is just amazing and love how it uses em bolts and connectors, link to the fact that ITG developed this and they do filters rather well

Pig fan of Neuspeed stuff in terms of suspension and wheels, every badly modded mk3 Scirocco however seemed to have one of their intakes and those seem to have gone up in price considerably

Just saw on Facebook. Revo Performance replying to a comment in the Stage 2 post;

"Can the software be traced by VW dealers?"

"In most cases not if the car is flashed back to stock before a dealer visit."

"Are you saying you have worked out a way to bypass the TD1 code?"

"Not as such. However if the car is stock it shouldn't flag TD1."

Interesting....scare mongery?

This may be true....VW have had my stage 1 revo GTI for 2 days for diagnostics which they had to send to VW head office and repair of a clutch. Came back as warranty. I was expecting a £1k plus bill because of the map.

Is that because they found no trace of your map, or that the cause could never be attributed to a map? Bet we'll never know.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

I'm unsure, but given its a drivetrain problem and getting the map invalidates the drivetrain warranty I would assume they haven't found it.
