RS 6 Style Alloy wheels

hello all......

long time since my last post but got some questions about alloys if anyone can help...?? been thinking about gettin some new wheels for a while as my original 16" are bit scuffed and i need two new tyres anytime now as the weak traction control can't stop me spinning even if it had rained last week. So i thought about new set wheels and am considering these audi style alloys......http://www.tyresave.co.uk/alloysvw.html

i think I've seen a mk 4 golf on here with these wheels fitted but can't find it now for love nor money. I'm bit of a mods novice to be honest and am just wondering if anyone has bought wheels from this site/place before and what u guys think of these wheels in general. will i need to lower the suspension after having 18" fitted to reduce the 'raised' effect they'll give the ride???

Yeah they do look well nice on mate, polished rs4's are nice too tho.  When you get em the package price is good, but they come with sh!t tyres

Flipmode, aren't the ones in your link RS4's??  Gaz's RS6's look nicer I reckon. 

Get some decent tyres tho' - it's worth it. 

Have a look on ebay - I got my Avus Audi TT wheels with tyres second hand off ebay for £300.  Mint condition.



... and yep, I would get it lowered, as big wheels on stock suspension can look a bit silly.  If you don't want to spend too much just get some shorter, stiffer springs (£60 - £130 for a set depending on quality), or you can spend a lot and go for coilovers (~£600+).

i love those RS 6 wheels, how much roughly are they to buy without tyres??? (as i know a place that does good tyres for cheep!  )

if u follow the link on my first message in this thread to a company called 'Tyresave' then they are £380 alloys only, i think its free delivery or if not £30. I reckon thats a bargain and might buy some next couple of days. I did bit of surfing on the net and that was about the cheapest i found.
