I still lurk from time to time but dont post much as I dont have a Golf anymore.

I missed the whole 'scammer that got a visit' thing though - would like to see that thread!

Merry Xmas one and all - and mk3s are the best GTI.  :wink:

Oh and apparently I joined in 2008 - where have the years gone.

I remember some of those things.
Been away from forums for a long time, was getting tired of all the handbags at dawn stuff.
Joined 27th November 2008 so a n00b by some standards.
Info on here and others did help me complete my first engine conversion. I now run my own bodyshop!
Still have my Mk2. I even drove it once... :grin:

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.

I still have the occasional glance in but since getting the Rocco not done any mods or got any plans to at the mo  :cool:
