Think the only ones I remember are:

"Happy Birthday" threads.
Forum Calenders and the voting.
The scammer RyanGTI.
The time the scammer got a visit.
R-Tech

And the family feel...

Havent been in VAG scene for a great deal of years, probably about 7years and a couple less on this forum maybe.

Dont think r-tech have quietened down though.  Might not post as much now though, but still hte most popular vag tuner.

Still better than most for technical help, the aldi forums are all about shiny wheels and taking your car to a garage when you have a problem,  as if.....

My second stint on here as I let the first one slide in favour of ED38 and Club GTI :lipsrsealed:

Always enjoyed the forum and have recently come back to reading it on a daily basis in my lunch break, I have noticed that the mk5 and over sections seem to be a little quiet compared to the threads on the mk3 section but I guess there is less you can do to them??

I guess it's just the age of the advantage forum member that affects this.  Generally the younger lads tend to use Facebook to fulfil their addiction, bust most of us "more mature" folk use the forum.  Some of the other forums I'm a member of are still going strong for this very reason  although it always goes quiet around winter when lots are tucked away in hibernation. It's a circle, it'll come back at some point.

I made an account here just a few days before picking up my mk4, and I'm still driving it now!
