newbie with aum and agu

  as the title suggest I have recently acquired an aum and agu I have some work to do both have there problems, as I have all day everyday while hubby is at work I took up the hobby of doing some work on our vws now we always have vws and have had  about 60 cars in the past 12 years. Im now a lot more knowledgeable and venturing into deeper territory resulting in my eagerness to fix these two babies up .both have mods and upgrades which gives me whole new area to discover. so now my problem is where do I start with so much to do!!!
