Just had confirmation that my car will be built build week 25 (I think) starting 15/06

Me too, although I still don't know if I'll be able to collect or not due to potential redundancy.  Fingers crossed though.

Cheers pal, it's an annual event now, 10% slashed each year for the last 3 years.  I've always been ok (top appraisal rating so if it gets down to scoring I'll be one who is least likely to be cut) but I still don't really want to commit to a new finance deal until I know.  Been looking at an E39 530i as a redundancy cash buy as an alternative :grin:

Start of July maybe? Not sure how long it takes from build to delivery. I was planning to wait until September 1st. But if it's ready 2 months in advance I doubt I'll bother tbh.

I was thinking the same thing about waiting until september but jeez its been hard enough waiting this long already  :whistle: . Ordered my car in March.

As I intend to keep my car for 5 years I decided to work out how much money I would lose by having it on a 14 plate instead of a 64 so using both CAP and Parkers I compared the private sale value of a five year old GTD on 09 and 59 plates. The difference is only about £300 so not worth worrying about. Also I think if I wait until September to sell my current E46 BMW I might lose that £300 anyway  :rolleyes:

So , bring it on . Hurry up July

Hello all, recently had my build week confirmation for my gtd. I ordered it on 11/4 so very happy with bw25. Wishing my life away now until the happy day comes when i sit in it for the first time. I haven't even had a test drive so it should be like driving a Bentley compared to the fiesta econetic I have at the moment.

Hello, Grey GTD confirmed BW25. VW Newbury have advised I should be looking to take delivery around 18th July!

Been on order since 29/3 so I'm itching to get it now!
