Ha, thats a good point, I'll see what zensport has to say tomorrow, and If it is going to be an ecu out job, I will take it to r tech instead.

Ha, i took it in to Zensport today, and they told me it had to be an 'Ecu out' Job, so with that in mind i've decided to just take it to R-tech

fairly sure every golf ECU is OBD2 mappable, with the exception of one EDC15 ECU (diesel) I believe.

I thought it was a little odd, the ecu mapping equipment he was using was alientech k-tag i believe. It was definately Alientech something.
