Greenock. It's not exactly local to me but I've been dealing with the fleet manager so that's where the car is being processed through.

Did you get the 5b and 5c updates from the tracker

No - latest I got was the 5a text that I posted on Sunday which I also thought was surprising.

When you go on the tracker site how many days/weeks is it saying til it typically reaches the dealer. 4 weeks means its left the factory, 3 weeks means its at Emden, 10 days means its on a ship.

I've had a text update this morning...

Volkswagen order update: Your Golf order no. 2408**** has progressed to stage 5c of 7 (in transit: near the UK). To STOP login to vw.co.uk

I've also checked the tracker which says...

Your car is in the final stage of its journey to the UK. On average it takes 10 days from build for this model to reach your local Volkswagen Retailer.

All the tracker shows is stage 5 - in transit and it says below it: "Your car has been built and has now left the factory. On average it takes 4 weeks from build for this model to reach your local Volkswagen Retailer."

The text updates seem better than the tracker TBH.

CarMadDad - good stuff! I still can't help but think that 10 days is ambitious when you read some of the other BW threads but fingers crossed!

Can't believe it, my car is in the UK already! Update from this morning...

11 days from start of build week to arriving in the UK, that's gotta be some type of record?!?!
