you do know that tps sell genuine parts?? Lols. But i have heard that they also sell refurbished parts too.

how much is the porting & polishing costing you?

When the car is back on the road take it easy for the 1st 600 odd miles (i did it upto 1k miles) didnt driver over 2k revs for 200 miles then not over 3k revs and so on. But others will say different.

I realised this when I rang VW and they were out of stock for a few parts so they referred me to TPS, the part numbers and engineering marks confirmed it.

Yeah I'm gonna treat it like a run in service with a new car, the fact all the brakes are new will help me behave :)

Turbo engineer said that there is no sign of engine damage which is a Brucey bonus  :smiley:
