Back on topic, why are you fitting a parrot when for not much more money you could retrofit the factory bluetooth?
Have a look in the Mk6 Maintenace Section to see how easy it is to do.
I was purely going off a few people I know who have them, all bar one say they're great. I must be honest I'd rather have had an OEM installation but I presumed they'd either be prohibitively expensive, or a used kit with the potential for bits missing from eBay etc.
