Hi All, just registered so treat me nice. Ordered a standard Red GTi for the wife about 5 weeks ago. It was an order already in the dealer system and managed to do a good deal on it.

It was BW10, mine is showing in the UK now, and has been since last Monday. I'm due to pick it up this Friday, so hopefully on a transporter somewhere.

Madness that a day or so out of the factory turns into a week or more delay.

yeah its frustrating,  but at least yours is in uk now. I guess its all down to ships and transporters etc that slow things down.

pic of my Wife Vw Alltrack which arrived today with birthday wrapper still on. Collect on Friday.
GTI still sat at dock by the look of it..

Hi
Yes I like the looks of the Alltrack and it can back up the looks off road 2. Not like a Disco can of course but for my needs its fine..deal was to good to pass. Had a vRS estate on order since December and they still cant give a build date 3 months on let alone delivery so cancelled and went for a 177dsg Passat but then saw the Alltrack version...was love at first sight lol. Got great deal and was on boat already..

Guess yours is being pdi?

aye the alltrack would be the one i'd go for. I was looking at he vRS estates for the wife, didn't realize they were struggling to supply them. I might have to think again :D

Yeah getting Pdi'd today then cleaned tomorrow. i worked at the dealership for almost 10 years, so i've managed to get the valeter to do the fabric protector stuff on the interior with spare. they offered my the full kit discounted but i didn't want the rest as i'll get some cleaning stuff and try my hand at it for far less.

Yeah check out Briskoda.net. Your are looking at 6months mate. Loads of people are cancelling its crazy. Some guys ordered last October and still dont even have a BW. They have even dropped things like front assist and radar cruise etc due to parts shortages.  VAG are prioritising Audi&Vw for parts and engines etc..
Theres a Plan B thread on there worth looking at..
