hay ya iv got a 16v turbo (turbo teckniks) wid fully managable ecu (MoTeC M400) im runing a T25 garret with 360 bering , cut back blades pushing 205 bhp at 9 psi now i know the turbo will go to around 14psi but i dont wona push it TOO far as i love my car. so i wona get a GT28R as it retains the T25 flang but will go a lot further with out straning it too far, also the manifold im geting (mine has cracked) has a port for an external waste gate. now will the new turb need to have the internal waste gate removed to alow the external one to work properly, or can thay work side by side?

any help is good help         PS iv run a 13.9 quter mile in the mk2 golf 16VT  and im gona go BIGER and FASTER............... ye baby..............

cheers woody

get yourswlf a a t28 of a nissan200sx, or a t28 from a pulsar, both use the t25 type flange and the later is a bb type. and has a better exhuast housing, i saw jus tover 300bhp from a t28 and basic fuelling and air filter and exhuast mods.

or run the current t25 at a bit more pressure, my old t25 was good for 16psi and puhed 255 @fly with the same above basic mods.

top stuff  mate did you have the exit to the intercooler going down and under the car to the front as i wondered if the polsar turb or the 200 will alow me to re pipe that way but a cossi turb has a similar set up and am i right in saying thay are t28 standard??

the t28 on the pulsar exits at a different\place to the 200sx s14 one.  to make it fit the s13`that i had , i rotated the core , then just plumebed it in using some braided oil and water hoses. hardest bit on the nissan is getting the manifold off.

the t28 from the pulsar is the one that u want , as u get a slightly better spool , and it will push more boost b4 it gets past the point of no return for the boost u r pushing.

as for the intercooler, the nissan one goes up the runs to the front of the car at slam panel height( i used a saab one), standard ones go into the wing. the other way was to fit a front mounted hks or hks type /2wd cossie cooler as this has the inlet and outlet at the bottom, it was more or less a case of just making up a few bends, but this was usallay achivable by using the orig bends and a few cuts here and there, but nothing to hard or special, bends from a saab 9000 intercooler and pipework may come in handy though.

the cossie turbo has the same iirc, exhaust housnig but thats about it. plus it uses the t3 mount which is different to the t25/28 type.

your t25 hybrid will be good for 250 bhp
a t28/hybrid from 280/330 - 350 depending on spec type used.

the figures i have given you r proven figures using real world cars, ie my old nissan's , but they assume basic mods, such as sir filter, zorst, remaped ecu etc.

hth

want any more stuff pm me, as i maybe able ot help source a t28 or t28 hybrid if u want one.

maybe u could pm some info on the turbo conversion for the 16v , as im intrested in doing one to my 16v, but i want to retain the kjet

i take it a 5th injector would do the extra fuelling , if a little bit crudely
