Arz engine code parts
« on: 19 January 2014, 18:41 »
Looking at buying a few new parts for my 1.8t arz engine code but struggling to buy parts. For example I can't find a company that sell a tip for the code. Any help?

Silicone parts are the same as the AGU mate.

What parts are you after specifically?

Agu code is the same for a tip? Asked for a arz one and the company said they don't make anything for that engine code. Thanks

the difference between the agu and aum is the d/v and the hockey puck are the opposite way round (I made that mistake but still got it to fit!!!)

might sound like a stupid question, but arent the dv and hockey puck holes the same size? therefore is the tip the same?

by the way, iv also had this trouble, emailed forge about a tip and they said i must have a very rare engine code cause they have never heard of it before o.O

Please forgive me if I'm wrong and search on google if you wish but I have been under the illusion that the ARZ and AGU are identical (or very close)

GTI is not a trim level. It is a lifestyle.

They are similar. The ARZ has the smaller port head and is DBW where as the AGU is large port and cable throttle. On my ARZ I've used AGU silicone pipes fine. Creation Motorsport even list the parts as AGU/ ARZ.

What I also meant is that as standard both ARZ and AGU have the K03 turbo.
