if you have an fmic sticking out the bumper it will defeat the purpose of down badging
you cant really see that in mine or in any car from the rear

Mines not visible from the side either

I'd love to have an animal of a car badged up as something poverty spec, I debadged mine pretty soon after I bought it, partly because it looks better and partly because I like to keep people guessing.

I don't no about England but here in Ireland people only want to race a car if they think its fast
for example I wont race anything if I no its below 200bhp and if anyone in a 1.4 asked for a race I would laugh at him

Personally I don't go around asking people for races, it's more just toying with cars on dual carriageways and motorways. I enjoy surprising chavs in CTR's more than anything else.

That's pretty impressive

I quite want to stick a VRT in a MK2 and make it a sleeper, whenever I've got a house with a garage then a project will begin.

I don't like the idea of going around and asking for a race, sounds awfully chavtastic. The 1.4 badge works well because I get left alone by chavs looking to try race everything in sight. Stops people tail gating me when I just have a headache and on my way home from a long day at work.

And when the mood takes my fancy I love the idea of down badging even more because people think I have less than 200 bhp because of a 1.4 badge only for them to be left confused lol

the only people asking for a race are the fellas in 1.3 civics or tdi cars that think that a 100bhp car is really fast. Also I love sleeper cars that's why im building my gti. Everyone round here thinks that gti's are very slow but I no that they have a lot of potential for big power

I quite like the idea of down badging,

don't forget to tell the insurance though., Even though your using something that makes the car less desirable alot of insurances will see this as a modification and its not unheard of for insurers to refuse payouts due to exterior mods that have not been mentioned.

Also worth noting, Modified insurance can often be cheaper than standard.

My LCR policy went down over £200 by switching from standard to modded insurance and one of the qeustions I was asked was ' have you added or changed any stickers or badges'
