Hmmmm! Mate, that is f**king rubbish!

So the engine siezed!? No oil? You haven't been using sand to help the engine run better have you?

That sounds very expensive...

Keep us posted, good luck!

Cars now fixed. Big thanks to Kings Lynn VW Centre....again!

Seems something timing associated had siezed. Leading to the stripped cambelt.

The lads checked everything was free, cam, water pump, crank etc. It was all free and moving so the car was timed up and started. With a new crank pulley. We were worried about the valves and head damage.

They took it for a run and it is running sweet. So that was a lucky escape!

The crank pulley had sheared a couple of bolts. So maybe it could have been that vibrating against the block, I haven't a clue.. dThe guys said to be honest they have no iea and have never seen that before. She has done 100 miles tonight of mixed driving and is sweet as a nut.

Anyone in the Kings Lynn area I would recommend Paul at this place. Again they have done a great job on my Golf: -
