I got given a DSG Polo - it was so slow I could have run faster (and I'm a fatty ), but it was only for one day so not too bad I suppose.

My challenge is to see how many miles I can put on a courtesy car. I save up all my journeys for when I've got one. The best I managed was just over 600miles in one day when one of the cars was in for service. When my old Passat was away for 3 weeks for warranty paintwork I was given a Mk6 Golf Match with 200 miles on it. When I took it back, it had done just over 4000 miles.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

:grin:Brilliant! My workmate did the same...he was told he had a mileage limit but he put on as much as he could in a week! It was the garage's fault that his car was back in again so he was a bit angry at them

Did I say I was thinking about a Touareg next Lee? I'd like an extended test drive before I make my mind up tho'. Do you think you could arrange one for August? Two weeks should be long enough. Oh, and if it had a tow bar, that would be even better.
