Rear demister on=radio problems

Just came across this earlier on. Radio on playing fine. Turn on rear demister radio loses signal...
Anyone similar problem. Small thing but quite annoying.

Is it DAB or analogue radio?  In some cases, the radio antenna is integrated into the rear window (the wire's laminated into the glass) alongside the heated windscreen wires.  Wonder if something has gone awry with it and they are interfering with each other  :undecided:

Mine has this setup but not had any problems using the de-mister with either DAB or am/fm radio at all.

I had this exact same problem on my mk5 golf but never got to the bottom of it!!!

Good luck trying to solve it
