Can I just add that there is nothing wrong with aftermarket belt kits,
The likes of SKF, Conti-Tech and Gates all make OE belts for manufacturers across the world.
The tensioners are all made by the same people, as are the idlers. The OE parts I removed from my LCR
had the same markings as the Conti-Tech kit I purchased, Ive since fitted an SKF kit to a mates 1.8t and guess what?
The tensioner and idler had the same markings as both my OE stuff and the Conti-Tech kit, All made by INA.
It seems the only thing that changes is the brand of belt supplied.
The Conti-Kit is £109 but if you use the promo code you save £15
The SKF kit is £76 but again with the discount you save £10
Both kits come with Belt, Tensioner and Idler
The only part of the kit I would go genuine on is the water pump unless you can get a full 'genuine' kit for the same as the above which I doubt.
You won't have any issues with either SKF or Conti.
