Yeah it's running ok, sad to say I love my car lol. Taking it into VW tomorrow for a check over, I think it's ok but just like to be sure

Best thing to do. If you need any parts, let me know as I know a good eBay shop that sells genuine parts, it's where I bought my R32 bumper.

Thanks for that The car was ok apart from the usual reports on brake/tyre wear etc. The rear wiper and water issue is covered under the warranty I have so will get that done under that. The only thing I do need is a new battery, vw quoted a stupid price so will have a look around for one. Apart from that the car is in pretty good nick lol.

Can't remember what forum I saw it on, but there's a lot better choice of battery over the original on, do a forum search or Google it. Did you find out if your Golf is due recall work for the coil packs?

yeah it has had the coil pack done, vw confirmed that it was done in 2011 so one less thing to worry about lol.

Got the new battery today and it's booked in for Friday to have the wiper motor replaced (under warranty) so it's all good lol. Have been thinking of getting the rear windows tinted, do you know anywhere locally? I found a place in Kent that looks ok

I don't know anywhere, but your rears should be 30% tinted already, if not more. Just make sure they don't exceed the maximum allowed by the law. Use local knowledge, see where other people got theirs and look at the finish.
