Hi.

I'm the owner of beach buggy turbos... I appreciate your comments and would like to hear your opinions if you wish to share. Either on here on privately.

I understand your concern, but I have been producing hybrids now for over 2 years.. We are currently on version 7 of the k03 hybrid, and nothing has been done without full r&d testing with r-tech or badger5.

We have tested hybrids not currently available to the public which make 348bhp on the k03 frame.

The choice of the k300 is to produce a good quality, high performing turbo that is reliable and meets the needs of the customer.. We are not interested in peak figures, as we know over 340bhp is capable but the spread of power.

The turbos I produce are built using proven parts, custom made and developed internals.

No other turbo company has done as much r&d into hybrids as I have done..

Not 1 of the 37 k03 hybrids I have made in the last 2 years has been returned under warranty.

Every one of my customers I deal with personally, and I ensure every customer knows what's needed to get the most out of the turbo..

We spent 8 hours on the dyno today testing a new entry level k04, and previous to that 5 hours doing the same to ensure that it performed as specified.. It was run way beyond its normal operating limit.. And in some cases my hybrids have been tested to destruction to find the limit.. Ie 30pzi flat line boost..

I take nothing lightly, I setup and started the company as I was wholly unimpressed with what was available and wanted a better product, this is something I strive to still today.

Tfsi hybrids on 1.8t running hopefully 400+bhp.
Tfsi stock turbos I built running 372bhp on a 1.8t

Tfsi on tsi engines.

I will sell the k300 as 300hp turbo.. I know how to make it on an engine, stock ported manifold will do it at 1.4bar.. No fancy manifold is needed.. All it will do is make 300bhp at a lower pressure.. If you want more power then the k300 isn't the turbo you need.. K03 turbos are limited by the turbo hot side not the manifold so for my turbos a ported stock is all that is needed..

Never heard anything bad about a BBT hybrid either! :S

Ported OEM stock will flow enough for the next limiting factor on the k03 framed cars.  Bill @ Badger5 can do this for a good price or you can do it yourself.

pointless spending £250 on a 'fancy manifold' when the standard one is up to the job.

Big respect for a person to stand by his custom made parts!!! Its good to know that none of the 37 k03 turbos have been returned.
