At last, mine too Ginagee !! We're edging closer and closer now, I'm still not confident enough to sell my current car though. My GTD is being delivered to a dealership in Telford and I live near Bolton, can't decide whether I should have it delivered to my house or go and pick it up myself.

Millzy68…. Definitely go pick it up yourself. Not only can you check everything is as it should be with the dealer, you get to drive it home… with a big grin all the way!

Gonna burst here! Just got email from dealer:

"It looks like your new car is at the port in Emden waiting to be shipped, so I don't want to promise but you may have the car by Christmas it just depends how long it takes to get transported.

I'll keep an eye on it and let you know when the status changes."

How long does it take from arriving at Emden, shipping to Grimsby and reaching the dealer?

About 1 day to ship from Emden to Grimsby then up to 7 days to get to your dealers

Thats encouraging Ginagee, what is your tracker showing? Mine's still showing 'in production', has it moved onto 'in transit' yet? Mine seemed to move onto 'in production' on Sunday, which I believe was the same day as yours. I've not heard from the dealership but hopefully mine will be keeping yours company at Emden !

Yeah, my tracker is same stage as yours. So it was a big surprise getting the email today stating it was at Emden. I've responded to the email and asked if they can let me know what boat it ships over on. Hopefully they'll let me know, and if so, will let you know

Your cars should be at stage 38 - port to exit, your dealers computers will give you most information.
My car was sat at Emden for a good 3-5 days before it saw movement.
Then 1 day to get over to Grimsby and unto 7 days to get to dealership.....

Well folks, went to go & hand over the Honda MOT & Registration doc yesterday for swapping the private plates…. the waiting is nearly over!!!!!  It's gonna be just before Christmas, or just after. I'm quite happy for it to be beginning of Jan, then it's a 14 year car. Dealer says she'll look out for what boat it's coming across on.

Cancelled the Autoglym Lifeshine, and they were cool about that. So just really happy & getting v. excited!
