Hi folks, I'm also in this gang. We should maybe start a self help group.

I'll go first.
My name is Gary and I'm an addict. Its been 10 mins since my last hit and I'm starting to twitch already!!

The worst thing is, its not even gonna be my car, its the wife's, and we don't even want it until March. I just can't help myself.

Its just another sick VW joke to screw with your head!!! There's probably a computer program monitoring how often you check the tracker which is linked directly to how quickly they then build your car.

I would hope it's not the case. Some sicko sat there laughing, then he see's we look at our tracker again, and he then delays it another week. It's horrible to even think about.

To make matters worse, I've pinned the website on my tabs on chrome so it's something I just can't help doing. Ha. Utterly Ridiculous!

Luckily I haven't felt the need to check yet as I have a build week of 5 for next year. No doubt after Xmas I'll be like you lot and become addicted to checking it. Until then I'm trying to forget all about the tracker.
On order: 5 dr, Manual, Carbon Grey GTD : Winter Pack : Dynaudio : Pro Nav : Rearview Camera

Phew! Glad I'm not the only one.  Ordered by Limestone Grey GTi MK7 with winter pack in St Albans on 13/12/13 (A Friday!!!! Eek!) and it read "With the factory" for weeks.  Just moved to stage 3 (BW) on Sunday and stated build week commencing 24/11/13, a whole 2 months earlier than the dealership told me

Just wondering now when it will be ready to collect based on those dates.  Any ideas anybody?

Right, so I swear someone said it only updates on Sundays.

When I've tried my tracker, I've managed to see two others peoples orders. A Sharan, and a Golf S. Every time I check mine, I take the liberty to check their to see if they are moving.

The Sharon moved this morning to 1/12/13. I presume if that changed and mine hasn't, it won't make that week now

Mines just skipped over to BW confirmed at last! 1.12.13, and I ordered 18.9.13. So I'm gonna relax now until then. Then I'll get tracker addition again!
Is 1.12.13 BW 49?

You think it's bad now? Phaaaa!! Wait until you get to the transit stage. I am currently sat here lookin at marinetraffic.com watching a boat with my car on (hopefully!) sailing from emden to the port of Tyne.  I'm refreshing it every 5 seconds watching to move ever closer to good ole England. Best bit is I'm at work and I'm getting nothing done as a consequence. Haha
