Hey,

Would anyone else who was build week 45 be able to tell me if their order was delayed? Or what stage their order is at now?

I recently found out that my build was put back to week 46 and to this day is to make it past the Quality Control stage.

The dealership I ordered from has been very good keeping me up to date as much as they can and has also attempted to find out just what has happened. It moved to stage 7 on the 15th November but hasn't moved since.

If I'm honest, I am a little concerned as it is starting to have the hallmarks of a lemon GTI.  :undecided:

You shouldn't be concerned. If it's stopped at this stage it could mean that quality control is active again in the VW. And your car should be trouble-free when you deliver it

Appreciate the feedback guys. Hopefully you are right and it does end up being a good sign. Over 2 weeks is a long time for any quality control

Would have been nice to have the car for Christmas but looking like it will be January sometime

Finally had confirmation that mine is being delivered on 12/12/13... It could have been 10/12/13 but I'm out all day

So I make it (17/7/13) order to delivery of 22 weeks... My g/f ordered her car, BMW 120d M-Sport (factory order) 11/8/13 and it arrived 1/10/13 (less than 8 weeks)...I means she's had the car two months already... What the hell is VW up to...
