bluefin trouble anyone? PLUS any known bluefin discounts for members?

No discounts I'm aware off to the forum, but they do, do discounts direct from time to time you gotta keep checking the web site, last one was 20% for the royal wedding.

I assume you mean that your Bluefin handset will for sale, but any buyer would still need to buy the re-map

hey Ross,

since you had it on a similar car did you have any trouble with it in terms of ignition/misfires/turbo lag/etc?  Did you have to change your diverter valve or was it ok with the factory one?

I ran Bluefin Stage 2 on a MK5 GTI DSG for five years no issues, loved it.
Now running Bluefin stage 1 on the MK6 GTi DSG for 3.5 years with no issues.

No problems, no diverter valve problems on either car, just large grins every trip

thanks mike, greatly appreciated insight and particularly helpful since your car is a dsg. Tbh i have always been a bit sceptical about changing anything on the car - why change something if it works just fine - and I've been thrilled with the car since day 1.  But i've reached a stage now with the car being 4 years old, where i want that little bit of extra to reignite my driving passion ... a way of renewing our vows if you like    I will probably be waiting until next month when I travel to the UK for business and have the handset delivered for free at my hotel to save myself from shipping costs to Cyprus.

Bluefin on the gti is what the car should of been like from the factory in my opinion, very happy with my bluefin.

No the device is fully reset - Therefore you do not need to buy the map, you just send them your details ie MK6 GTI DSG or manual and they will send the map.

You never have to buy the map when its second hand, you have to pay for the device resetting, which mine is 

I never had to change DV, no misfire, turbo lag.....was a small issue with the carbonio intake (vacuum caused small hesitation) but fine after small mod.

great bit of kit, mines only been used twice and is like brand new with all box, disc and manuals

As it is in perfect condition i would like to try get £350 for it - cheaper than any on ebay. PM if anyone is interested, thanks
