Seems funny hearing the mk5 being dismissed. There are a lot of good 200+BHP cars out there but the guys gone with a mk5 as he likes the thing. Yes mk5 can be had reasons my now but don't forget were are now on the 7th generation. Good value and reasonable engineered cars at the end of the day and he's stayed in the VW fold :afro:

Diddnt dismiss the mk5 at all simply said the st out of the 2 was a better car to drive I like the look of the mk5 until I sit in 1 just think the interior was a big let down the mk6 was a nice improvement... Either say ure right ninja was a good deal and good luck lets see how long u keep this lol

But that is your opinion.  Many would disagree.

Have u driven either? And of course people will disagree but the fact the mk5 is depreciating is true... Once again not slating themk5 simply pointing out that have driven both and the st was a nice drive.... If u have not driven both both then why bother making a comment on our points!!!

Complaining about people voicing opinions:

same with this thread you have so kindly voiced your opinion on

And then stating your opinion as 'FACT'

the focus is ten times better than a mk5 FACT

Make you look like a trolling numpty Ford fanboi.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.
