Cool but they will be generic due to clients wishes  :lipsrsealed:

Nah don't have enough monies to get GAS
Neither do I really, but I bargain hunt. My latest was a Nissin 622 flash gun for £54. My excuse was needing it for a party ;)

lol I did see a lense cover surround on the end of a long lense made it look longer
Not sure what it did but guessing it focused light from one direction when flash lights are going around from other cameras?

Do you mean a "lens hood" ?

They do make the lens look longer, but it's purpose is to stop bright light from hitting the front of the lens in such a way as to ruin the photo.
A little reading:

Yeah second one from the right, but bigger never seen them except in a soft rubber cone version, don't forget I've only used manual Nikon's and Olympus ones still not comfortable using DSLR, but don't have time to experiment either

I don't have much time either, between kids, wife and shift work, but I take my camera to work and use it on my lunch breaks.
Try each different function one at a time before you get onto full manual.
Start with Aperture Priority (Av mode on Canon) and learn about aperture first.
Or if it's rubbish weather, do some reading.

Nice. It's fine for everyday/generic use and it's served me well for the times I've used it. The problem is that it doesn't do panning shots which I'd love now that I've got a 70D.

There is some focus issues wanted the square focus area wider to soften up areas and make sharper but hey just a few I did take 100 pictures with the limited time I had still learning though
