mk 3 female owner....... help!!!
« on: 18 September 2013, 18:51 »
Hello everyone

Hoping everyone will be patient with my daft questions! !!! Not had to 'look after' my own car for a while but have got to learn....FAST!

So.....please be gentle!  First question. .....where do I find the bonnet release catch to open it up and check my oil...... and the engine coolant level?
Had the red warning light on this morning and now gone off.....judging from what I've read on here that could be a dodgy sensor but feel I should check to be sure!
Secondly my ex 'chucked' some oil in at beginning of June and when I asked him what kimd he just told me to use any!!!! Something tells me that's not right!!!!
Basic maintenance advice would be hugely appreciated here peeps!
