Hi. New guy getting a mk4 gti (180)
« on: 18 September 2013, 14:20 »
Hi. I'm hopefully going to be picking up a mk4 gti this weekend. One ive seen is completely standard, the other has a k&n and end can. I can't do anything too crazy like mapping because Ive only been driving 10 months and cant get specialist insurance but I was wondering if there's any smaller mods I should do for a bit of performance and making it sound as nice as possible. I'm not some 18 yr old paying 5 grand for insurance or anything, I'm 27 but have been a motorbike man for years and just want a nice motor with a bit of poke to replace the 98 ford escort I scrapped the other week :-)

Thanks fellas
