Thanks Guys. I have just been told by my dealer that it has not been built yet, now there's a surprise. I mean what on earth is going on. This is now the third week of being fobbed off. I was told it is in the pipeline to be built this week, but this is exactly the same thing I was told last week. It is absolute farce. I wouldn't mind, but if they are going to give me a confirmed build week then build on the week not three weeks later. I am being told as well delays are due to factory shutdown and Hail Storm. But I put back to the dealer if that's the case why is there cars on confirmed build weeks after mine already going in to transit? It's like the Chuckle Brothers are running the VW factory 
Similar story mate, I was build week 35, but my car only went into transit yesterday (It not a case of the tracker being slow to update as my dealer was sending me a daily email as it went through each build stage!). Like you, it is not the actual delay which frustrates, but the complete lack of meaningful information/explantion from VW....
Being told it normally takes around 4 weeks from confirmed build week to retailer?! Well no, because it's not even at Emden Docks yet!
