Hi Exonian, I thought you might be local, - the tag is a bit of a giveaway! That's a very kind offer, but my strategy will be when the right car and deal have been found, to have one of the wheels in the boot and ask for a technician to to fit it and check its ok, as the deal clincher. I'm likely to buy from a main dealer for peace of mind and hopefully, trying a wheel on the car (or having their assurance that it will fit and be appropriate for the Golf ) won't be asking too much.
I've had the A3 (TFSI Quattro) for 3 years, and its a lot better to drive than the motoring hacks usually give it credit for, but having test driven the Mk6, well, its another world! I'm looking forward to making the change, but am in no rush and will wait for the right car to came along. Thanks again for the offer though, Orlando.
I've had two mk6's which says enough about how highly I rate them.
Mine will hit the dealership forecourt about November time so keep an eye out!!!
