Yesterday I refitted all boot carpet after doing the rear bumper vent fix.
Gave inside and out a good clean, new Auto Finesse air freshener.

Year 7 service today- done myself on my driveway.

Cost was around £70- for 6l Mobil oil and a genuine VW oil filter.

Saved a bit on a dealer service. More importantly, it was a much more enjoyable and satisfying experience.

The Sealey 6l extractor i bought for the job worked extremely well

The car is still ( nearly) mint and only does around 3k miles annually now.

This is where I get my money back- I can get many years of enjoyable service with very low depreciation and servicing cost.

And it still drives as well as it did the day I bought it.

You’re losing the oem look! Lovely looking wheels though. Give us your thoughts on how it affects ride.

Will do, like you, very low mileage these days so first report may take some time😂

All fitted ok, ride and handling are absolutely fine so far, original bolt caps wouldn’t fit but managed to sort that ok. Gave callipers a decent clean but hubs need a bit of TLC but ran out of time today.
Overall very pleased with them, photos don’t do justice, they pop and sparkle in the sun and look great against the red of the callipers imo.

Lovely- really does look great Adam.

So nice in fact that I just went on the CM website to check prices.

Maybe one day. This and a stage 1 if I need to “ refresh”  the car

Looks smart they do👍🏻, Iv been looking at these wheels for awhile, thinking about picking some of these up, Iv got Revo stage 1 on Friday so will have to go on the back burner for now, Iv heard the centre caps are a different size from the oem wheels, did you buy some new ones? and if so could you point be to where you got them?

The centre caps are 56mm - got mine (used) from eBay - originally from a Polo(?), in as new condition - see below.
Also ordered some 56mm stickers from Ali Express to go over the plain black plastic caps that came with the wheels just in case the original order didn’t fit but they’ve not arrived yet.

The original Parker’s are awaiting to be cleaned and then I’ll sell them on.
