Went out for a drive, ended up here...

Car looks great EB2019 - great photo too.
Car looks like it’s settled a bit. Are you enjoying the B6 dampers?
Enjoy the laps!

@ paul70 Thanks, yeah B6 feel nice, probably too soft for the Ring, but balanced and firm enough for road use, especially with the driving roads around here.

No tourist laps for me these days, it's like the wild west out there. Locals in stripped out semi slick E36 BMW's, GT3 RS's racing and family Passat estates doing 60 mph, what could go wrong lol. I used to do them 10 years ago and more recently the odd official track day at the Ring but no TF laps. Haven't done any track days in this car at all Tbh.

Industry days are cool as you get to see the cars with camo racing round before they go to market. Quiet camouflage Boxter yesterday probably electric by the lack of sound.

@clubsport: Sorry you're right, when I wrote it I was thinking it didn't seem right in my head. The TCR wheels was what I was thinking about with the 18" Belvederes.

hi,

i think my heatshield is hanging on so will also need reattaching. Could you tell me if its a fairly easy job to do as i don't have access to any ramps?

thanks

If it’s the exhaust heat shield then it’s a 10-15 min job, no ramps/jacks needed. I did mine last week, lay on the drive with a pair of pliers to pull the remains of the old clips off and then replaced with these:-

quickly knocked into place with a socket & rubber hammer.
