I keep my VW front rubber mats in the car all year round as I don’t find the durability of VW’s carpet mats to be very good.

This was my worry particularly as the TCR/CS mats don't seem to be available anymore. Having said that, they cleaned up fine and were looking good when I put them away.

However on a 3 door which rarely carries a rear passenger, I have unused matching rubber mats in the rear, as the mismatch would drive me nuts! :)

I struggled with that too! But I'll soon forget....

I saw that too, a lot of people were laughing at the cheekiness of the seller but I bet they sold!

Invested in a pair of genuine VW front rubber mats. Rarely ever have anyone in the back so didn't bother with those. Only around £55 delivered which seemed reasonable.

Hi Watts, please could you send me a link or did you get them from your dealer at that price? Thanks, Andy

After an extensive discussion on what on earth happens to "sport" drive mode when you get in the car, I've installed (plugged in?) a pedalbox so I no longer have to worry about it.

Initial impressions are great, much prefer the feel of the accelerator with it turned on, however given the recent weather haven't had a chance to try it out properly. Will give more thoughts when it's dried up a bit so... May 2023?

Picture of a filthy gti instead
