Today it was the turn of the front arch liners to be removed and the application of rsutproofing spray.

Again straightforward enough usung a T20 torx.

With 15k miles on the car, there was a little more road dirt collected in the bottom of the wings and around the arch than I had expected, certainly more at the frong than rear, thankfully no hint of corrosion.

If any of you are planning to keep your car for some time, i think this cleaning and rustproofing under the arches is well worth doing.

Sounds like something worth doing, do they come out easy enough?

Each arch liner literally takes 5-10 mins max to remove, very straightforward and easily line up with the mounting holes to refit.
It takes more time to clean and dry the underarch area, apply the rustroof spray, clean and ceramic coat the wheel & caliper,,,,,,it depends how carried away you get! :)

Finally cleaned the car inside and out (happier about the inside) and gave it a quick coat of KC FSE as the snow foam dried while I was cleaning it.

Trying to gauge whether to put the breccia's back on for summer but the BBS are badly chipped from stones at work and need a refurb...

Currently half way through a 2 stage paint correction. Jumping in at the deep end for my first try, it’ll never be up to @willni’s standards but it’s better than the Brillo pad look it had before

Looks great buddy, one thing about black when it's freshly polished it really stands out on the road.

It looks great...
What products did you use. I've got a T-Cross to do in a couple of weeks.

Thanks! That’s Gyeon compound+ and their medium cutting pad. Just finished it off with Primer and I have to say it looks fantastic
