Had a bit of a tinker with the car today, fitted some new door seals and had a temp fit of my new rear lights, just waiting on bulbs now.
Took a couple of pics.

Looks really smart that. God I love MK2's. By far the best looking golf made!

Looks good mate. Personally think the headlights / grill / indicator selection on the front lets it down a little, but each to their own.

The garage should really have sorted that bonnet FOC too I reckon, how had they not checked clearances?! Anyway, all done now eh :)

I no the lights/grill are not to everyone's taste but i like the crystal light look.
The garage did a lot of good work on the car and I didn't want to kick up a fuss and maybe spoil a good relationship for the future. All sorted now

Had a couple of bits turn up today.
New low entry trolley jack cos since lowering the car been struggling to get mine under.

Stainless manifold

Had these lights for a while but been waiting on the led bulbs turning up.

After fitting one side with lights on.

And both on.

I no the lights I had on are desirable but one of the bots was broken off on one and it was letting water in.
I like the new ones, I no there just cheap after market ones but think they suit the car.
