I listen to a lot of trance music, thus I spent quite some time specifically messing with the stereo in the demo I drove. The standard sound system impressed, but I noticed that beyond about halfway on the volume scale the bass was fading out at the expense of other pitches. I figured that the Dynaudio was likely to be better, so was quite happy to pay the upgrade fee - I have not yet received my car yet.

Yes, no regrets ordering the DynAudio, its amazing, zero distortion.

This review sums it up nicely

I spent a little bit of time this afternoon while on an errand checking different settings, settled on authentic then tweeking it in the menus. Shame the MIDs in the doors seem to provide most of the bass, with the sub filling in what it can, which would explain what I am hearing.

Again, its just my ears which are probably not in the best of shape considering the clubs, the car installs and the hours using headphones way too loudly

Happy now I know the limits of the system, now I'll get on and enjoy it

Trance and house boy myself too   for me, as the system moves the rear view mirror to the beat with plenty of bass and absolute clarity is a winner.... Well happy with my lot.

Had a nice drive tonight and listened to the Tron album, absolutely amazing sound system.
It's probably designed so the sub doesn't have to do much work as the door speakers rock!
Sub just gives low frequency bass when/if the recording has it.
It's safe to say that it works, I have turned the sub to +5.

Likewise, the sub on anything more than 5 and I find it irritating.  DynAudio pleasantly surprises me when I notice it, all depends on the music!
