Like I said Jay - full treatment!
That is what SAS has been campaigning for now for over 20 years! Waste products (sewage/toxins) have been entering our waterways and seas for centuries!
We now have the technology and ability to stop that as long as the water companies do their bit which they dont! Add in the effect of Storm water outfalls which allow raw sewage to enter our seas etc. when we get a small shower of rain!
Now as for fracking they will be licensed and part of that license will be the treatment of the waste they produce.
In practice they will be dealt with the same way the Water companies are.
At the moment there are no proposed fracking sites near a decent surfing beach and hopefully that will continue.
