Cross member bush change

Got some new poly bushes to put in the front cross member

How do I remove these metal plates to push the original bushes out?

So from the diagram , if I snip through no.4 and re-order that , I should be good right ?

Get hacking,  replacements aren't going cost much at all and will save you  wasting ttime on trying to separate the old ones without damaging them.

So you guys are saying cut through the sleeve protruding from #3, then buy#3and #4 and refit with the replacement poly bush?

You could heat item 4 with a blow torch to expand it but it'll be a bit messy with the rubber bush likely to catch fire
