Nice to see you could keep the quad grille.


I've seen so many conversions where they can't do that and it spoils the look of a GTI...


Just a pity you didn't stick a new one on with new lights!!

Yeah it had to remain quad grill for me

Did you manage to keep The Mk2 Clocks after the conversion?

Yeah the car is identical in appearance (apart from a hint of intercooler through the grill) the mk2 clocks are still there, even the golf ball gear knob and mk2 key remain!

When I converted mine i kept the orignal clocks im guessing if you had a tachometer fitted he kept old clocks

Yeah tachometer converter for revs.  Wouldn't have wanted newer clocks, it would have spoilt the look of the interior for me.
