I agree, it looks quite nice, as does a red one and a black one, but put a white GTI in the mix and it's no contest for me!

I am, I like white cars, especially when paired with a GTI.  Nothing funny at all ;)

Silver is definitely underrated! I reckon it is just a current fashion to have a white car (my last three were). Silver actually looks better more of the time in our climate! I've never had a red car before and I've always liked tornado on the GTI. Not to have to pay more for it a la Fiat 500 is great...
