G60/vr6 clutch conversion
« on: 03 July 2013, 12:33 »
I am just in the process of gettin the parts together. The flywheel was proving alittle differcult, found a second hand one now for an abf at a reasonable price, as these flywheels are pretty bullet proof I see no issue with a 2nd hand unit. Just seeing if most others have gone with 2nd hand to?

I went with second hand, no issues, no need to worry!.. at the end of the day, if you had a mk3 16v and the clutch went, would you replace the flywheel too?. I wouldn't unless it was certainly in bad condition!

+1 for second hand. No issues so far.

Just make sure you use new flywheel bolts and release bearing.
