The hole fits my maf perfect, and I've trimmed down the silicone reducer in order to get the filter actually inside the vehicle LOL
But when I do up the two bolts that should secure the heatshield in place it puts a lot of stress on the maf. As in... Nothing settles without a fight. With the heatshield off its fine, but when everything is connected there's quite a bit of strain on each part, reducer, filter and maf because of the awkward angle .
Also the heatshield I'm testing out has got quite a big hole that caters for a cold feed pipe that's not connected at the moment and it's currently allowing warm air to come through .
If people have run it without heatshoeld and experienced no problem, I can take it off and make life easier
