hi just wondering if I pick up this off ebay will it be fine for my mk4 53 plate 1.4 16v golf

info i have found says it can read codes on 2001 and newer petrol cars in the european union, and 2004 and newer diesel cars in the european union,

look at the reviews, they are mixed.

i bought one last week and it worked.  gave me a code p0411, secondary intake or somthing, found the secondary pump and noticed it was unpluged   all good now and no codes
