3inch exhaust
« on: 06 June 2013, 00:42 »
Right basicly im having my decat and 3 inch exhaust done this month..but i cant get it remapped till july, will it be ok to run on the standard map?
Its an agu
A few people have told me it has made their car run rich and the mpg drop right down..
Is it best to wait and have it done the week before the remap or am i safe?
Cheers

AGUs only have a pre-cat lambda sensor so it shouldn't make much of a difference for you. I dont think it did when I installed without a remap, however I was enjoying the quicker spool up and booting it a bit more.

i went from Loch Lommond to Perth to Braemar, through Tomintoul, Grantown-on-Sprey, to Inverness down to Fort William, down to Glencoe, across to Loch Ba and only started worrying about fuel back in Loch Ard where i was staying at the Forest Hills Resort  :nerd:

the golf loves an open road!
