Picked up from Hawco's Inverness a couple of weeks ago - very good service and would use again.
Extras are PP, Adaptive Chassis, rear camera and rear airbags.
Currently polished with megs 205 and coated with sonax pnt for now.....

Well guys, it's finally arrived. After being sat at the dealers in teeside for 4 weeks due to my current lease not ending until today, I picked up my GTD and it was definitely worth waiting for. I took a small gamble and didn't even test drive one before ordering but having owned a few vw's before( mk2 gti 8v, vento vr6 and a mk5 tdi) I knew I would be happy with it. What a machine, happy as a pig in..........

Will try to get a picture up when I can work out how to get it as clean as monkeyhangers dads. It's black and yes I do know I will spend the rest of my ownership cleaning it then crying when it's dirty 5 mins later. Looks the bo###cks though

Forgot to add pics. Not the best photos, I used my iPhone. The last one shows how shiny it is after I give it a good scrub. It's hard to keep clean as you all know, but I rather enjoy doing it.

Finally collected my GTI after a very long 6 month wait!

I'm a little gutted I didn't go for the bi-xenon's but at A$2500 extra, I couldn't justify it at the time and the Mrs would have none of it 

The company that did the paint protection also seemed to do a bit of a naff job to be honest. Swirl marks all over the car and I've already picked up some minor scratches which I'll be ringing the dealer about on Monday.

Other than that, she's an absolute beauty and a huge leap from the Mk5 GTI I owned a few years ago when I was still living in the UK

Collected on Sat 8th March. It's my wives car so I've only drove it 40 miles so far but have to say what a fantastic car it is.
Luckily the car was pretty well prepared (well done to Benfield on Scotswood Road, Newcastle) so after washing it yesterday it was pretty swirl free. So for those that are interested a coat of Auto Finesse Tripple followed by a coat of Tough Coat was all that was needed. Oh and some Auto Finesse Mint Rims wheel wax on the wheels.... which took forever!!

This is probably gonna sound a little weird but do you happen to live in cramlington? I'm sure you live on the same estate as me, seen your car a few times! looks amazing in Gun Metal Gray!
