Are you guys telling me you manage to do jobs on your cars without taking chunks out of your hands? I don't think I can change the radio station without bleeding somehow

Haha, this has got my name all over it...

Managed to slice into my leg with a Stanley knife, when trimming my rear valance :lipsrsealed:

I finished the job after a couple stiches!

stole my thunder dude, i did exactly the same thing years ago, trimming a cambelt cover down on my 1,6cl, had 5 stitches in it and it didnt even bleed, just started weeping with loads of clear plasma.....

Dropped a car down onto my fingers the other day guiding a coilover into location.....lets say my fingers were between the coils and car dropped a bit quick.   painful.

Not on a golf, but was about 5mm from stabbing myself in the eye with a screwdriver trying to put caliper retaining spring onto a caliper of a megane.....lesson learnt not to try that again!

Worse thing I ever had was knocking myself out. I was under a 4 post and my total knob end of a boss let it down slightly while I was picking up the gearbox (we didn't have all the fancy hoists ). I got up not realizing as the ramp goes down pretty quiet and smash my head straight on the sump. Managed to not drop the box and pass out.

I come round, say "is there any blood" "nope" go check mirror then find it's pouring. Went mental, apparently he said, compressor was on I didn't hear.

He never did it again though! Probably shouldn't have been lifting the gearbox on my own either from the floor but H&S was never followed at that place. Didn't have many accidents though tbf. Only the usual cuts etc.

I also was levering something, something says gearbox but I can't see it could have been, maybe an anti roll bar or something and the big bar slipped.

I have a black bump only small on my forehead. It's fading slowly but 3 years later you can still see it.
