Worse thing I ever had was knocking myself out. I was under a 4 post and my total knob end of a boss let it down slightly while I was picking up the gearbox (we didn't have all the fancy hoists
). I got up not realizing as the ramp goes down pretty quiet and smash my head straight on the sump. Managed to not drop the box and pass out.
I come round, say "is there any blood" "nope" go check mirror then find it's pouring. Went mental, apparently he said, compressor was on I didn't hear.
He never did it again though! Probably shouldn't have been lifting the gearbox on my own either from the floor but H&S was never followed at that place.
Didn't have many accidents though tbf. Only the usual cuts etc.
I also was levering something, something says gearbox but I can't see it could have been, maybe an anti roll bar or something and the big bar slipped.
I have a black bump only small on my forehead. It's fading slowly but 3 years later you can still see it.
